About Easter time 2023 my landline had line cord error message. After long expensive phone call and 2 weeks a technician came out and changed my phone to plug into the router. It has worked up to today now I have same line cord error again. I have tried unplugging, my 2nd phone has same error. I only have payg phone, so does my 89 year old dad who I can't contact for long. I'm paying extra for phone package so I can talk to him. Xmas is coming I can't be without a phone. I need someone to find out why this has happened again and fix it properly. I have a bt1100 twin phone.

Have you tried the service status number 0800 561 0061 to check for any faults in your area?
Have you restarted the hub to see if that restores the connection?
Have you tried a different handset (borrowed from a friend, family member or neighbour for the purposes of testing the line) to rule out a handset issue?

I'm so sorry to hear of your recent landline service issues. I've checked over things on our systems and I'm unable to detect any faults on the line currently that would explain this.
