If I add extra extensions beyond 3, it stops working.
Is there a way around this limitation?

(which I believe is the same as the Hub 3 model) shows a max. of 3 REN per line, so you may be out of luck when add a 4th phone.
Supplementing corded phones with some cordless phones may be a workaround.

Hi percyw,
Thank you for your post, what equipment do you have with us?
If you are limited then I am sorry we cannot assist further.

What VM equipment are you trying to connect your extensions into?
Are you plugging phones into the telephone connection on the back of the VM hub or are you trying to connect to a conventional telephone wall socket?

Hi,
The line out of the back of the router goes to 4 extension wall sockets in different parts of the property.
3 have telephones attached, if I add a phone in the fourth one, the system dies (it stops working cannot phone in or out). If I swap that phone into another socket, it works fine, but limited to only3 working extensions (REN3, the fourth REN kills the system).
Kind regards,
Percy
