Cannot get landline to work I've checked line put plug in different sockets still says please check line cord.

I need to get in touch with virgin but cannot now because of this issue.

A warm welcome and thanks for posting on our community forums. We're sorry to hear that your landline is not working currently.

Can we ask how your plugged in, is this via your master socket in the wall or the via the back of your hub in Tel port 1.

Can we ask if you're able to try an alternative handset in the socket, just so we can eliminate it’s not the equipment causing the issue.

If you can't do not worry.

If you have any other extensions phone plugged in to unplug these and any other equipment that may be attached to your landline, eg fax machines/modems.

Please try the above first and come back to us if you still have no working line so we can carry out further diagnostics for you and arrange and engineer if necessary.
