Landline

I have just installed a new hub, connected it to mobile devices, but the landline has no dial tone.  i tried pressing the WPS button, and re-booting but still nothing.  It will not call out, and I cannot call to the handset.  And, of course, there is no-one answering on the service number for Virgin Media

Is the phone symbol lid on the modem? 

It could also be due to when u first get a phone line installed you won't be able to get any incoming call for up to 24hr after that u should be able to receive incoming calls.

If still having some issues can we please confirm if this is plugged into the Hub or the wall socket?
