Landline problems

I have had landline problems since the 13th. Have spent extensive periods on my mobile. Service returned for a short time on Monday and yesterday. Reported again that it was not working yesterday. Was told on transfer I would wait 2 minutes. Over half an hour later had to give up. Text later saying it was fixed which if it of course was not. Lines do not reopen until 8. Live in Hove. Need phone urgently and cannot make or receive calls. Virgin what the hell is going on??  Any suggestions how to get this fixed

I am sorry to hear that you have had some issues with your landline.

 

Are you able to let me know, is there anything listed on our service status page ?

 

Are you connected via the traditional wall socket or via your hub?

Not when I posted. I phoned again when lines opened and there is a network issue-why was this not on website. No confidence this will be fixed soon.
