Had no landline , engineer came out and connected home phone to router and now my home phone number has changed is this right ?

I am so sorry to hear you have been having issues with your landline, could you please expand it, did you have a landline before it stopped working we migrated you over and your number changed is this correct?

Hi Zoie that is correct my landline wasn’t working (wall socket) so it was transferred to router and number changed. Didn’t realise until today when I tried to get authentication for a banking query
