Re: Landline number

Hi WeeRay, thanks for message and welcome to the forums. I can see that goslow has provided the correct information to find the landline number, the landline number is found on the bill and you will also be able to call another number in order to obtain the number. Please let us know if you have any issues with this?. - Chris

Re: Landline number

I have down loaded my last bill and it says I have a land line but no phone number or usage shown on my bill!

And its a 4 hour wait to get hold of an advisor, why is this so hard to get?

Re: Landline number

Hi martz748,

Thank you for your post and welcome to the forums.

I am a little unsure as to what's going on here and I would love to be able to clear it up :). Just to confirm, is there a reason the landline number is needed? Can you let me know what it is you're trying to do so I can offer the best advice.

Cheers,

Ryan.

Re: Landline number

I am trying to get energy quotes and one supplier does a package deal for all house hold bills so requested my landline.

I have never used it or even have a phone plugged in otherwise would just ring my mobile.

Checked my account, no mention of it, downloaded my bill, Nope not on there. Tried the help chat and the bott had no idea and said 4 hour wait until a real human can help.

Surely the phone number I am paying for should be listed on my account?

cheers

Martyn

It should and it will be on there but don't worry it's easily solved.

I will send you a private message so I can help 🙂

Cheers,

Re: Landline number

Following is for a web browser view of MVM on desktop/laptop (current view and just checked now)

When you log into MVM (and have clicked the pointless 'Continue' info popup that appears) you should see the 'Welcome' screen.

Top RHS is the 'View Bill' button. Click that.

On the next page you should see a drop down arrow for 'Usage charges'

If you expand that, it should show you the number.

On mobile, this info was posted some time ago

https://community.virginmedia.com/t5/Home-Phone/What-s-my-landline-number/m-p/4210064#M132428

but view on screen may be different now.

Failing the above, borrow a phone, plug into the landline and dial your mobile to get the caller ID.
