Landline number transfer

Hello, I’ve just joined Virgin as a new customer as part of moving house. I requested my landline number to be transferred from my old house (I was with BT). I provided the number and previous address when I applied but have been asked for this again via text message - is this correct? Many thanks

Further to my last message, the text message asks me to call 03456500101, is this number correct?

I'm sorry for any confusion over the text message, can you confirm if you have active services with us and if you're in the process of porting your number?
