I moved to Virgin Media on 13/10/20 and had arranged from the start to keep my old number, I have NOT been able to receive any phone calls since install, my old number is shown on my package account detail, I was led to believe it could be 10 days to transfer/port it accross, it is now 25 days!! I would prefer to keep the old number if still possible but willing to get a new number from VM if necessary, I just wish I was kept informed of any efforts to complete and provide me the service I am now paying for!
Any help to resolve this speedily would be much appreciated.
Thanks for coming back to me. I've had a look into this via a colleague who's the best I know at telephony issues. She's contacted the holder company of the number, there should be an update from Monday
I just joined Virgin Media broadband and telephone package and my broadband and telephone services went live on 21 November 2020. Although I managed to get my telephone working, I find that calls can only be made on Virgin Media's given number. I did request to keep my old number, this has not happened! Please help us resolve this urgently, it would be appreciated very much as my frail 90 years old father in law depends on this for all and emergency contacts with us. Thanks. 🙏
