Can anyone advise, VM package was changed on 11.09 and old number reserved on 10.09. Number still not transferred despite being with Virgin. Managed to contact VM and told it will be done, still waiting over a month. Difficult to contact VW due to COVID-19. Does anyone know best solution.
The previous provider was Virgin, only the package was changed. Don’t know why Virgin decided to give me a new number when I was told to call Virgin to reserve the old number the day before the package was changed. When we rang Virgin again we were told the old number will be re-instated, but still waiting. There is no previous provider as we are still with Virgin,

I've had exactly the same issue (which is a major one as my old Virgin landline number is the only one for me that my 93-year-old-dad has stored in his home phone) and was on the message chat for three hours yesterday. Eventually the person I was messaging said she'd transfer me to her supervisor and I heard nothing despite waiting for a further hour. Did you get this sorted?
