After moving house four weeks ago, my old number has still not ported to my new address. I have been in contact with VM two weeks ago and was told it hadn't been requested (it had) but it would now go through. It still has not changed. I think she said there's a 30 day window to do this before the number is lost so I'm now right on the deadline for this. Can anyone help?
Is your old number is it still active with the previous provider, if it isn't then that is where the problem is, also if there was a cancellation order on the previous number then the previous provider will refuse the port, as per the Ofcom rules.

Thanks but that's not what they told me when I spoke to them and surely they would have been in touch if the port had failed? I was really hoping someone could look into it for me and confirm what is happening. I can't call them as I'm at work and don't have access to a phone, but want to do it today due to the deadline.
