Back in April, I changed my package to remove TV and downgrade our internet to 100Mbps to reduce some costs. During this, the landline was disconnected in error, we noticed a couple of weeks later and asked for the service to be resumed, during which we were told that we would get a temporary number while ours was ported back to us.
A month later and we still had the temporary number. I rang customer services, who said they will send it to the porting department who would ring me within 15 days (the same thing they said when I rang originally). Again, no one rang me.
I rang again in August, told the same thing and once again, no one rang me.
So, I'm hoping I'll have more luck posting my issue here instead, what is the best way forward? We have had this same number for 25 years and everyone knows it, we need it back!
