Landline not working

Landline not working. Tried 3 times to contact Virgin who tell me there is nothing wrong, but will undertake further tests  Because they take so long, I am asked to contact them after 10 minutes on a Virgin mobile or type in the virgin mobile phone number - there is no response from either option - thus the 3 attempts at getting Virgin to reply.  Going round in circles! 

No dial tone, no in or our calls possible, all extensions checked and appear to be OK.
