Landline not working

Checked both phones and connections all seem ok but using a cell phone neither phone rings and neither phone will ring out

I'm just coming back publicly at the moment to ask, where is your landline connected, is it connected into your standard telephone sockets or into your Virgin Media Hub (Modem/Router) directly?

Have you received an adaptor to link it into your Hub recently?

plugged into a socket on the outside wall and then what i assume are bt type plugs i have checked all thse and all seem ok

what is an adaptor link ?? no idea what that is and the box for the internet is upstairs i dont think the phone is anything connected to that

Okay yes it sounds like the standard telephone lines in that case. Have you received an adaptor in the post recently, or information about a switchover and linking your phone directly into your Hub?

not received anything to the best of my knowledge and is the phone not working because of what ever is supposed to be sent not here ???

The last bill was shredded before christmas 2022 as i said our post has been so erratic for weeks now we actually got two christmas cards posted mid december about 2 days ago 

my wife deals with all the payment side she is not here right now but i need the phone working asap
