Landline not working

My landline is not working (cordless - 3 handsets) no ringtone jst low white noise. Have checked they're charged, bases plugged into wall not extention & main phone connected properly (with a click into the virgin phone powerpoint

My landline is not working (cordless phone  with a pair of handsets) - no ringtone. Have checked they're both charged and bases plugged into wall power socket (which does work) - phone line connected properly (with a click into the virgin phone powerpoint on the wall). Have also tried alternate corded phone which does not provide a ring-tone either. Some while ago I received a dongle for the back of my Virgin Media hub with instructions not to use until directed - as no directions, still unused.

I'm sorry to hear that your landline isn't working. If you've received an adaptor in the post, it sounds as though your area may have switched over. 

The instructions should have been included with the adaptor. As they weren't, please have a look here. It gives you the step by step instructions. Give them a try and if you're still having an issue, pop back and let us know so we can help look in to things further.
