Our land line stopped working on Friday 30 September. We think it may be due to the heavy rain as we've had a problem with that before. I've tried ringing Virgin media to report this but i'm ending up in a loop in the automated test sytem where they say they will test, then they say it's taking longer than expected, then they say ring back in 10 minutes for the result. When i ring back on my home phone number as instructed there is no answer. This has happened twice now.
How on earth do i get Virgin Media to note my problem and get it sorted?

Many apologies for the landline issues, from checking our system I can't see any area fault that you are affected by, is the problem still present even with a different handset?

Yes, the landline isn't working. I've checked both phones. Handsets are saying "Check phone line"
Previously we have had a localised problem when there has been heavy rain (which we had here on Friday, since when phones haven't been working).

It seems we'll need to arrange a technician visit to resolve this.
