Landline not working

My phone stopped working yesterday, can't make calls out, can't receive calls. I have read forum however I don't have a spare handset to plug in?  What alternatives are there?  Checked the phones batteries - replaced and charged. There is still no connection.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to how to get the phone to work again?

Thanks for your first post and welcome to our Community.
Sorry to hear you are having an issue with making and receiving calls.

We do normally ask to try a another handset, But 99% of people don't have a spare handset to try. So please don't worry.
Id like to take a look into this for you and see what the issue is.
If you don't mind, I will need to send you a private message to pass security. 
If you can check the purple envelope top right of your screen that would be great.
