What is going on with my landline.......

Have you switched off Copper and moved to Fibre ?

If so wheres my letter and wheres my adaptor ?

Sick to death of running around in circles in website and telephone tree.

No help from anything or anyone. Costing a fortune ringing via mobile.

Hi @MrKW,

Welcome to our community forums and thank you for your first posts.

Sorry to hear you have been having issues with your landline service. We can understand the inconvenience caused and we want to best help. I have had a look into your service on our system and there is no notice for a landline switch over https://community.virginmedia.com/t5/Virgin-Phone-Switchover/gh-p/Switchover. Just to confirm, is there no dial tone on the device? Are all cables secure and in good condition?

Please get back to us and we will do our best to help from here.

Thanks,

Dear Akua_A

Thanks for the reply.

Landline not worked for 5 weeks, checked its fully charged, no ring tone. Even bought new phone still no good. Cant call out cant receive calls.

Website says no service issues and if i need an engineer it will cost me if its my fault hence the reluctance to call an engineer.. Cant speak to a human. Tried help by ringing customer service but takes far to long to test my phone line and when I ring back we go through the whole situation again.

Just want some basic help. And the link you provided does not work.

Thank you for your response @MrKW.

Sorry to hear you are unable to access the link. Please try https://community.virginmedia.com/t5/Virgin-Phone-Switchover/gh-p/Switchover or https://www.virginmedia.com/help/landline/switchover in regards to the switchover.

In regards to your landline, I will send you a private message so we can further look into your issue. Please look out for the purple envelope and provide a response when you can.

Thanks,
