Landline not working

Our landline is not making or receiving calls since yesterday. One of the VM fault systems, on the mobile app, showed there is a fault that appears to have been updated from last night to expect a further update later this afternoon. However, the website shows all OK??? What is right or wrong here?

Thank you for talking to me in a private chat @Jetosc2.

I have just noticed there is an outage in your area, which is causing your current Landline issues.

This should show on our service checker

I can see the estimated fixture time is currently showing as today's date, but this is subject to change.

Once this has been resolved, we will be able to send a Tech round if it is still not working.

I note now from my mobile app that the estimated fix for this is 31 May, 4.00pm!! This issue has been going on since 29 May. It would be nice if we were informed of the problem, i.e. how widespread it is and why it is taking so long?

I am sorry for the inconvenience caused with the outage, we will be working as quickly as possible to fix it.

Some outages are more complex to fix than others, but the engineer is aware and is working hard to resolve it.
