Landline not working for weeks.

On our wavelength


My landline has not been working for weeks now. As I use mobile more often than not and work nights I am only getting around to sorting this issue now. I don't see why I should continue to pay for a service I am not getting.

Anyway, It is impossible to do any checks on the virgin media website or contact support.

I have tested the line with both the existing digital phone and an old working analogue phone and get nothing. This has been tested both at the socket and the test socket behind the screwed on faceplate. When I try calling the line from my mobile I constantly get an engaged tone. This is a virgin media socket and is not related to any old or existing other party phone sockets.

Service status constantly states that nothing is wrong.
