Landline not working crackling but no dial tone

Thank you for your post and I'm sorry to hear that you're having some issues with your landline connection! 

Have you been able to take a look at our Landline Faults page to see if this can help resolve your issue? Have you tried to disconnect and reconnect your landline from the socket and reconnect it to see if this can help?

Have you tried to plug in a different landline phone if available to see if the same issue occurs? 

Please give these checks a go and let us know how you get on.

Hi

Yes I have done all those things. One phone is completely dead, the non cordless one and the cordless has the crackling sound and no dial tone.
