We had a power cut Thursday last week When I came to use the landline the phone was dead. Tried other phone still no dial tone. Tried ringing our number from a mobile and a recorded message saying number does not exist. Talked with virgin and they keep saying there is no fault. The land line runs in on its own cable to the phone seperately not phone via the hub. Can someone at virgin resolve this urgently.

I am sorry to hear you are having some issues with the land line since the power cut.
Just to let you know, we are currently upgrading all our customers phone line to our new DOCSIS network.
Would you like to go ahead with the switch now? Or would you prefer we do diagnostics on your current phone line until your area is being switched over?
