Experiencing issues with my landline. The phone displays an error 'Line Cord Error'. I have powered down, checked cables and restarted the home phone but the error remains. I have also borrowed a spare home phone and can't make/receive calls with that either.
Online tests via the Virgin Media website show no faults. Other services of broadband and TV package working fine.
I have booked an engineer visit for Friday 12th but if anyone knows of a quicker and more convenient fix please post.
