My landline has died in the last couple of hours and one of my handsets now keeps making a beep noise.  I have checked two of the Virgin wall sockets in my house and can't get a phone to work off either of them.  Can't ring 150 to report it as the Virgin phones aren't working and I can't see another helpline number to ring them on to report it.  I've checked whether there is a problem in my area - Virgin site says there isn't so don't know what to do next.

I'm really sorry to hear of your landline issues, I have looked into this and refreshed your line on the network, please can you check your line again for me?

@dimclanachan, please ignore that, there is a fault in your area at the moment, this has an estimated fix time of 1am tomorrow morning(31st March).

This popped up after I had done the initial checks.
