Landline inoperative

My landline is not working.

It was working fine on Thursday 06 August but since then there is no dial tone and when attempting to call it the connection is cut. I have checked all physical connections and there is no damage to any cabling or junction boxes.

Please advise and assist.

Thanks for reaching out to us in our community, I am sorry to hear you landline isn't working, I have had a quick look and it appears you need to call in and speak to our 2nd line faults, please call in and give reference FMS 075..

Thanks for the prompt reply.

Please would you confirm the best number to call (Is there a toll-free one?) as I would like to get this resolved ASAP due to needing the landline for elderly parents contact purposes.

To make it a bit easier and save you needing to call us 

I have booked the first engineer appointment we have available
You can check and reschedule this appointment through your online account if you need to
You can also cancel it if the fault has gone 
Can you please let me know how the visit goes

Hello Gareth. Engineer arrived and the landline was working within 30mins - it was a fault at the nearest junction box.
