Landline down

No dialling tone since lunchtime. Service status green.

Please can we get an update on this.

I'm sorry for the issues that you're having with your landline, I have been able to locate your account and can see that you have an engineer appointment booked in to fix this.

Hi and thanks for the reply.

The frustration is having to wait until Saturday for an engineer to attend, especially as the Service Status claims to show no area problem despite the landline being dead.

Regarding the service status page, this will only show issues at postcode level, this is a problem with your phone line at your home not an area issue, so wouldn't show on the service status page.

When I looked, the earliest AM appointment said Saturday.

Tomorrow morning would be ideal.

Do you need to have an AM appointment?

 

That is the earliest AM slot available but we do have other appointments at other times later in the week.

I have just looked into this and the one earlier slot that we had on Friday has now been taken, so the appointment that you have is the earliest one possible.
