Landline dead

My landline has been dead since yesterday (10 May) with a message on my phone saying "Line cord error. Please check". My neighbour who also is a VM customer phone is ok. Unable to get through to VM to sort out. Some of our relatives only contact us on our landline and in these times of trying to stay in contact this makes things difficult. VM like to advertise that you stay in touch. How can you sort out a problem if you can't contact them. Any suggestions - an email address would be useful
