Landline dead since 15.01.21

Hi

My landline in Area 22 has no dial tone and says 'Check Phone Line' since Friday (48 hours).

I have done all the suggested tests and still not working.

Last time it was a problem at the street box.

Please can you confirm if an engineer is en route?

Hello @CharlieBrown and sorry you've got no dial tone on your landline. I've had a little peek at your details using the information we have on here and everything looks fine on the routing side. No engineer has been booked but I've booked one now for you so they can check the cabinet outside.

 

As the appointment is quite soon, I'm going to send you a Private Message to confirm the date and time.

Minutes before expecting an engineer our phone came back on.

As my neighbours also had the same problem I assume another engineer fixed it or they fixed it from the street box. Either way all fixed and confirmed.
