Landline dead not receiving or making calls

Checked home telephone equipment with a cordless phone and also getting no dialing tone. Service status says ok but line is down.

I'm so sorry to hear that you're having some landline service issues. Is your landline handset connected via a wall socket, or through your broadband router? Have you performed any other diagnostics and troubleshooting?

Landline handset connected via a wall socket. I have connected a wired phone and not getting a connection.
