Landline dead incoming busy

Hi,

This morning my  landline has been dead. There is no dialtone so can't dial out and incoming call tests just say 'line busy'. I've checked all connections indoors.

Virgin website online tests shows no error found and no faults in the area.

I'm wondering if line has been damaged by incident with the local Power sub station.

Thanks for your post and welcome to our community. 

I am sorry that you've been having an issue with your landline this isn't good. 

I've had a look and can confirm that there is an issue with your landline service at the moment. We are looking into this and working to resolve it as quickly as possible and we do apologise for any disruption caused. 

At the moment we're looking to have this resolved by 20:40pm on the 13th January 2021. 

If you're still having issues after this time please let us know.
