I signed up a few months ago for Virgin broadband and home 'phone. To be honest I just looked at the broadband package. Good value for the speed. However I've since realised that the landline call rates are exorbitant. Outrageous really. More akin to 'phone charges in the 1970's!!
I really don't spend a lot of time on 'phone but quite a few short calls. Managed to get a bill for £70 extra.
When I try and add a new 'phone package I don't get an option to add anytime calls. Does any one have any advice?
To be honest it's the sneakiness that I object to. Good deal on broadband and then shafting you on the victorian technology of a quick call.
