As background, we haven’t used our landline voicemail for a while (most people call my mobile) but an older relative said they left a message last week. However there was nothing on the handset. Then suddenly 2 days ago, nearly a week after the message was left, the phone said there was a message. Which there was, and so I listened to it and pressed 3 to delete and it were no messages. But each time I pick up the handset it says ‘You have a message waiting’ and I cannot get rid of that - help please!
