Hi,
Our landline has not been working for a few days. I seem to be going around in circles trying to get in touch with anyone at Virgin Media to resolve it. I am getting no dial tone so cannot make or receive calls. I have tried another phone to rule out the problem being with our phone and the issue is still there.
I have tried to call several times and you just go round the same questions and they say they are checking your line forever! It's very frustrating! I am paying for a service which is not working and finding it impossible getting in touch with a real person!
Can someone please help?

We fully understand the frustration caused when you're not getting the help required. We appreciate you trying an alternative handset to eliminate the equipment.
Can we ask you one last thing before we invite you in for a private chat, can we ask if you have removed all extension sockets and other equipment attached to your line and just tried the phone in the master socket only?

Yes I have removed all extension sockets and used on the master socket. I get no dial tone and cannot send or receive calls.
