My landline cannot make or receive calls, there being no dial tone. I have carried out all checks and procedures, and I am satisfied That the fault is not with the phone itself, but with Virgin's supply service. I have no access to any other landline, and cannot ring the helpline numbers suggested on a mobile. It would appear to necessitate an engineer's visit. Virgin have texted me suggesting the helpline numbers, but, as stated, I cannot ring them, and I cannot respond to the text. It needs someone to phone me on my mobile and arrange an engineer's visit. I am 80 years old and need to use my landline.
