Landline is dead again, no dial tone cannot receive calls and apparently you need a degree in stupidity to try and get an answer on the website or a number to call and speak to anyone.
We have been with cable for 30+ years and the service has never been as bad as these last couple of months.
Please help me to sort this problem as the landline is needed to keep contact with various health professionals for vulnerable adult with many health issues.

Can you confirm if the handset is connected to the master socket?
Can you confirm if you have tried a different handset?

Yes it is connected to the master socket, and yes I've tried a different hand set
