Land line permanently engaged

I have no working landline. I have performed all virgin's checks to no avail. I cannot request an engineer as the website throws me out after filling in the form (time and date etc). The phone number at the bottom is not mine and when I try to edit it I am told the website doesn't exist, i.e., I'm thrown out.

I am sorry to hear that you have had some issues with your landline services. 

 

Are you able to let me know how your current handset is connected, is this via the wall or the hub?

Many thanks to all but Virgin man called, found problem in box down the road, fixed it and all is well.

Only difficulty I had was in booking the call.
