On dialling out only receive the Virgin Media help number which despite several attempts has been a waste of time. As yet not received any incoming calls for several days.

I am sorry for the issues with your landline.
It looks like your landline is being migrated over from the wall to the Hub.
So the outgoing calls have been stopped.
