Keeping old landline number

Hi we had our landline and broadband installed on Saturday (14 Nov) and everything is great!

However, we wish to keep our original landline number. How do I got about doing this?

Many thanks

Re: Keeping old landline number

Hi there @cooperjoint

Thanks for your post and welcome to the community.

Glad to hear that everything is working well for you and that you're enjoying the services.

With the landline number port - you would need to keep the old number active - has this already been cancelled with your previous provider?

Thanks,

Re: Keeping old landline number

Hi Hollie

Thanks for getting back to me so quickly.

I can confirm that my old number is still active and will be until early December.

Thank you

Hi Hollie

Thanks for your private message, but I'm having trouble replying. There is no Reply or Send button that I can see so my response is not getting to you as I cannot see this on the private message page, only a box to type my reply but nothing to send it? Very confused??

Thanks

Re: Keeping old landline number

when you say your line will be actgive until Dec. have you asked your old provider to cancel it. If you have you need to stop them from cancelling it.

If there is a request to cancel the port will fail
