Since yesterday lunchtime I have had an issue with my landline. Around noon my house alarm started alerting me to an issue. I was on a video call at the time and so can confirm that my broadband is not affected. The issue was noted as a phone connection, so when checking the landline there was no dial tone.
Things I've tried:
Checking service status - no known issues
Plugging in a different phone to wall socket and router
Calling my landline (no ring on landline but from callers point of view it rings their end)
Rebooting the router then plugging phone directly into router
Checked socket wiring
Using MyVirginMedia to test for issues (none found)

I've had a look at your details and can see the routing being fine. As there is no dial tone, it can be a physical issue so I've arranged for an engineer visit to take a look.
