Is VM different from BT in safeguarding customers in landline switch?

Is VM taking any notice of Ofcom concerns re the switch to digital home phones? Will vulnerable customers have to buy units with battery backup? I only ask as BT is taking the brunt of criticism at the moment while VM sails on at full speed with their changeover. Is VM any different/better in safeguarding their customers most at risk? Just asking?

BT recently announced they are pausing their switchover for those who do not want to switch

VM now appear to be offering an integrated phone/EBUL device as shown here

(which may mean less equipment clutter for those requiring an EBUL)

Would assume that VM, along with any other providers, will do no more than any minimum requirements specified by OFCOM.
