Internet and TV outage

Lost internet and TV at 2pm yesterday. Virgin engineers were in the street. Saw them at two of my neighbours houses. I checked online and it says there is a problem. Have received two text messages saying the problem is fixed, but it isn't. Phoned the call centre who now tell me won't be fixed until the 5th Feb. But cannot tell me what the issue is. Gave me a number supposedly to help but it is a recorded message. So fed up with not being able to speak to someone who can provide me with an intelligent answer. Does nobody in this company care about their customers?
