Upgraded from hub2.  To hub5

phone line is connected to wall socket. Now is not working.. no dial tone.  Done it need to be connected to router… if so what connector do I need as none came with upgrade!

Thanks for posting and welcome back to the community. 

Sorry to hear of the phone line not working and thanks for confirming there's no dial tone. From the system check done, no, it should be the wall socket. 

Just confirm for me, are you connected to the Master socket or an extension? 

Have you got any equipment connected to the phone and if so, is it more or less than 3 pieces?
