I have no dialling tone on my home phone (landline) and a message saying "Check Phone Line". I have rung Virgin only to be told (eventually) that all call centres are closed due to COVID. I have carried out all the suggestions on the Virgin Media web-site but with no success. I cannot find information on the web-site regarding how to actually book a home visit from an engineer.

Sorry to hear you've having a problem with your landline - how long has it been like this for? Have you been able to check the service status page; here to see if there are any outages in the area? You would also be able to run a test on the equipment also. If you're still having problems after that, just give me a shout 🙂

Dear Ryan, Many thanks for getting back to me. The phone has been saying "Check Phone Line" periodically for a couple of weeks. During the last couple of days the message has been displayed constantly and there has been no ring tone. As mentioned in my original post, I have carried out all the checks suggested on the web-site but they have revealed no problems within my area.
