How do I attach 2 landline phones, one upstairs & the other downstairs, to my VM hub. for my disabled husband, who cannot use a mobile phone, to access in emergencies?

We do this with a cordless phone that has 2 hand sets. The base connected to the Hub and the 2ns hand set can be where need.

But I get the impression that perhaps there is preference for a larger desk type of phone that would need to be cabled to the Hub.
