Just been given leads for hub for my home phone as my original line has stopped working but this is not working either very fed up no been without a home phone for over 4 weeks

Hi I was told it should start straight away as my other phone line is jot working I have put the leads in like the information said but not working the man from virgin media when he sent this out said it should work straight away

You would need to switchover to the new landline service. Until the switchover you'd be on the standard landline service which operates through the wall socket.

I have rebooted hub and phone line j have also checked phone
When I spoke to the gentleman from virgin when he changed it over he said it was easier to do that than try to sort out the problem with my other phone line

Have you tried using a different handset at all to see if that helps? That'll help eliminate this potentially being an equipment related issue.

Yes and this phone is only 4 months old as I changed my phone last time I had this issue in case it was the phone I have had this issue before
