My home landline is dead and I'm unable to report the fault as I just keep being sent around in circles by  virgin automated responses. I NEED my phone as I am housebound and vulnerable. It has been dead since at least the 31 October, possibly earlier.

We're sorry to hear of the issues faced with your landline recently and that you could not get through to our team to report this over a call.

We've checked and found there is currently a fault with the lines in the area that is due to be fixed by 9:10pm tonight by our engineers.
