Re: Home phone voicemail. Decreasing ringing time

Hello Angelo1,

Thanks for using the forums to get this issue looked into, I am sorry you're having problems with your voicemail.

Can I ask if you've got your own answer machine connected to the landline? This can cause a lot of problems.

Also are you having any other issues with the line that you can describe?

Thanks,

Megan_L

Re: Home phone voicemail. Not up and running yet

Hi there, I ported my telephone number from TalkTalk to Virgin Media last Wednesday 10th of June. I still have not got voicemail activated yet. could you please check with technical if that can be resolved please. As my mother is disabled, and sometimes when she's talking on the phone she's missing calls from doctors and hospitals for appointments as they're unable to leave voice messages.

Re: Home phone voicemail. Not up and running yet

Hello Angelo1

Sorry to hear this is causing you an issue

I have checked few things form here and have added Free Voicemail for you

It can take up to 48 hours to activate though

Once you pick up the phone and the dial tone is interrupted then you will have a voicemail

Then its just a simple case of dialing 1571 to listen to messages
