Home phone not working

Hi Was ‘switched on’ on Saturday and the engineer told me it would take a while for the BT number to port across. It’s 4 days now and I still don’t have a working landline. Has anyone any experience of this?

Sorry to hear this is still now working

Just to confirm, you are using the hub as a connection 

Can you please try rebooting the hub and see if that helps

Hi Gareth

Yes, connected to hub by engineer. I will try to re boot when home. (Had to do this 8 times to get the tv working!) 

will let you know if this works

Hi. Still no joy with phone. 
it hasn’t been switched over or switched on and have spent almost an hour waiting on the phone to speak to Virgin! Without success! 
Looking for advice from a massively disappointed new virgin customer.

Have managed to speak to Virgin (what a wait on the line that was) and have booked an engineer 

I will post the engineers report when he comes and sorts the issue out.
