Just went to start using home phone plugged in new phone has a dialling tone but when dial number any number says not recognised , also how do I get to find out what my home phone number is ? I don’t really need to use phone for outgoing calls jus incoming
I think the number to find out your phone number is either 174 or 175. This might trigger the phone to ring back as it’s also used for testing lines.
But since you said you cannot make outgoing calls because all numbers are not recognised you need to report a fault by calling 03454541111 from your mobile. No inclusive minutes or need to use a payphone? Then call free on 08001831234 and select option 4 then option 2 and this will put you through to customer services and faults.
When calling Virgin media it may ask you to enter your home phone number, if it does just follow the instruction to enter your account number and 2 digit area reference instead.
