Since this morning, we have not been able to receive or make any calls on our landline.
All that we hear when we pick up the phone is a clicking noise, we have gone through the help pages and there are no outages in the area.
The phone is not connected to a hub to a wall-socket and we have no dial tone either.
How do we go about arranging an engineer to check this?

Sorry to hear that you have been having landline issues. Are you able to confirm that it is plugged into main phone outlet in the wall?
Has out online troubleshooter been able to help https://www.virginmedia.com/help/home-phone-line-faults
